WebbWords like king, queen, mom, dad, etc. are only capitalized if they are taking the place of someone's name. i.e. "King wants to see you." "You know Mom said to clean your room." Basically, if you can replace it in the sentence with the person's first name, it should be capitalized. If not, then it's lower case.
