WebThunderbird won't accept password to send Hi, New to Office 365 thru work. We're using Thunderbird for email and want to add the new Microsoft hosted emails to it. We've got it set up and can receive emails, but when we try to send, Thunderbird will not accept and keeps asking for the password for my account on the outlook.office365.com server. WebJan 24, 2012 · Thunderbird keeps prompting me to enter a new password every time it tries to check for new mail. If I submit the existing password, sometimes it continues happily on and other times it brings up the same prompt again. If I cancel the prompt, it doesn't do anything, including not connecting to the server for the mail check.
